I would like. . .

I would like to take an art class
I would like to get the dogs into a training class
I would like a trip to Scotland this summer
I would like a new kitchen
I would like to paint the basement floor
I would like a dishwasher

These are what I can think of at the moment
These are a few reasons we are trying to save
Some are easier than others and some we could do without
but they are all things that would make life
easier or more fun.

The weekend

I was supposed to have a tacky sweater potluck but that did not happen.

David and I went to Seamus McDaniel's instead for my wonderful cousin J.
He graduated from the police academy (GO J)

Sunday we had dinner with my friend Lauren and her boyfriend. Lauren brought a wonderful red pepper soup. I had my first attempt at a Pot Roast and I think that it was DELICIOUS. With carrots, red potatoes, and celery. Then for dessert a made dump cake.
Needless to say it was a successful dinner.

First week

I GOT THROUGH IT!

I got through my first week of a new job.
The week flew by.
I get my weekend off.
I hope to have a fun weekend.
We are having a Tacky Sweater Potluck party.
The idea is
You have to wear and ugly sweater AND
bring your favorite side dish to share
with everyone.
Hope everyone has a good time and enjoys the food.

Good Year!

Had a great new years eve. Had two couples over to my house for a few drink then went to three monkeys for a few more and then back to our house to ring in the new year. All this required NO vehicle amazing.

A lot happened in 2008.

New Husband ( well he has been around awhile so he isn't so new anymore.)
New House (in the city)
New Dogs (got them from Stray Rescue so maybe not new to the world but new to me )
NEW JOB (starts in the 3 days)
New found interest in cooking (hopefully it all tastes good)
New friends (to add to the old ones)


This next year is going to be great lots of news i hope well maybe not the husband
